About Kimberly

Kimberly is a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in the state of Virginia.  She is a graduate of Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Liberty University with a Master of Arts in Human Services as well as Professional Counseling.  Her therapy approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Compassion Focused.  She also incorporates Emotionally Focused Therapy when working with couples.  Kimberly has a post graduate certificate from the Institute for Sexuality Education and Enlightenment and is receiving AASECT supervision with Renee Burwell, LCSW, MPA, CST.

Kimberly has been working in the mental health field for over 10 years and has a passion for helping adults from all walks of life manage their lives while exploring and enhancing their sexuality through the use of therapy.  Kimberly feels everyone should be afforded a safe environment to be their authentic selves in an effort to improve their overall health.  Kimberly believes that therapy is a partnership in which the client and the therapist walk side by side on their journey to success.
